Corki and Ahri Set to Receive Significant Buffs in League Patch 12.21 as Preseason Approaches

League of Legends Season 13 Preseason Highlights

The Riot Games balance team is gearing up for Season 13 preseason in League of Legends, but before that, there will be some buffs to a few mid laners and pro picks in Patch 12.21 next week.

Ahri and Corki, who are both popular and strong picks in professional play, are among the champions receiving buffs in the upcoming update. Jungler Xin Zhao will also receive some buffs in Patch 12.21.

Additionally, Malzahar and Rumble will be getting boosts mainly to improve their farming capabilities. The focus of the 12.21 balance changes is to address any significant outliers in the game.

Xin Zhao’s Win Rate Plummets

Xin Zhao’s win rate in solo queue has significantly dropped in Season 12, according to pro-play stats site Gol.gg. He went from a strong 51.49% win rate in February to just 49.10% in recent matches. Ahri and Corki have also seen declines in their win rates late in Season 12.

Upcoming Buffs and Schedule

Patch 12.21 will bring buffs to Xin Zhao, Ahri, Corki, Malzahar, and Rumble. These changes are expected to go live on Tuesday, Nov. 2, according to the Riot Games patch schedule. More detailed balance plans for these champions will be revealed soon.

Keep in mind that all early buffs in League of Legends are subject to change.
