Copenhagen Wolves Sign Rising Star as New Mid-Laner to Replace cowTard

Copenhagen Wolves Mid-Laner Takes Leave of Absence, Team Finds Replacement

Copenhagen Wolves mid-laner Viktor “cowTard” Stymne has announced that he will be taking a leave of absence due to personal reasons. However, the team has already found a replacement for him for the upcoming matches.

Stymne fell ill last month before the team’s game against ROCCAT, and since they didn’t have a substitute player, they were forced to forfeit.

Ready-Made Replacement Found

The loss of Stymne is a blow for the team, which is currently ranked second from bottom in the European LCS standings and facing relegation. However, the team feels confident that they have found a ready-made replacement in the form of up-and-coming Danish player Søren “SorenxD” Holdt Frederiksen.

Frederiksen is relatively unknown, having never played in the LCS or for any high-profile teams before joining the Wolves. However, sources close to the team have shared that the 19-year-old is a highly talented player in the EU West Challenger division in solo-queue. After a successful trial, the team signed him in time to play in next week’s LCS games. His first appearance will be against fnatic on July 17.

Impressive Skills and Nickname

Frederiksen has already earned the nickname “Mini Bjergsen” from his peers, not only because of their shared first name but also due to his impressive playing ability.

Choosing Communication Over Experience

Although the Copenhagen Wolves had a substitute mid-laner, Džiugas “Mazzerin” Repčys, who previously played for Gaming Gear.eu, the team decided to bring on the young Dane for better communication.

Stymne will still remain on the Copenhagen Wolves roster for now, and a long-term decision about his future with the team will be made later.
