Clutch Gaming Shares Voice Comms from 3-1 Victory Against TSM: ‘We Can’t Believe It, We’re like SKT’

Clutch Gaming Makes History, Releases In-Game Voice Comms

Clutch Gaming created history by stopping TSM’s advancement in the NA LCS playoffs. Today, Clutch released their in-game voice comms from the series.

This is the first time in NA LCS history that TSM did not make it to the finals. The significance of Clutch’s upset win cannot be underestimated. However, that did not stop Clutch from having fun while dismantling TSM’s legacy.

The voice comms video is now available on Clutch’s YouTube channel as part of the ongoing Clutch Chatters series, where the team’s voice comms from pro games are showcased. This week’s episode is particularly special.

It would be easy to mistake Clutch for a group of merry Redditors given the number of jabs they took at TSM and the ensuing laughter.

European import Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten made fun of Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg and Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen’s KDAs. Support superstar Nickolas “Hakuho” Surgent called TSM top laner Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell boosted. Clutch top laner Colin “Solo” Earnest made unintelligible noises when he earned a solo kill on his opponent in the lane. It was absolutely hilarious.

Overall, having a more lighthearted approach probably helps when taking on a team with TSM’s pedigree. However, jungler Nam “LirA” Tae-yoo was always there to keep the team focused before the jokes started.

Clutch will face the veteran-loaded 100 Thieves in the semifinals this weekend.

Correction 3/28 10.25am CT: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Hakuho called Hauntzer “a boosted monkey.” We regret the error.
