Cloud9 maintains first place with crucial victory over Dignitas in LCS Spring Split week 6.

Cloud9 Dominates Dignitas to Regain First Place in LCS Standings

Last week, Cloud9’s reign at the top of the LCS seemed to be slipping away as they suffered three consecutive losses. However, today they bounced back with a convincing victory over Dignitas, solidifying their position as the frontrunner.

Perkz, Cloud9’s mid laner, played a pivotal role in the team’s success. His outstanding performance on Orianna, with a score of 4/0/11, was instrumental in breaking their losing streak.

Before this match, a loss for Cloud9 would have given four other teams a chance to tie for first place. However, with this victory, Cloud9 has created a comfortable lead ahead of their next game against Immortals.

Unfortunately for Dignitas, their hopes of securing first place in the Spring Split have now been shattered. Nevertheless, they still have a chance to perform well in the upcoming Mid-Season Showdown and secure a favorable position in the bracket.

Additionally, 100 Thieves’ chances of claiming first place have also been dashed due to their head-to-head record against Cloud9. Only TSM and Team Liquid remain as viable contenders for the top spot, besides Cloud9.
