Clid disqualified from HLE’s LCK matchday roster amid sexual harassment accusations

LCK Jungler Clid Sidelined for HLE Match Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

LCK jungler Kim “Clid” Tae-min will not be playing for Hanwha Life Esports in their upcoming match against Dplus KIA as he faces multiple allegations of sexual harassment. The substitute player Jo “Grizzly” Seung-hoon will make his LCK debut in Clid’s absence.

Allegations and Apology

Clid has been accused of sexually harassing two fans online. While he has not personally responded to the claims, his agency Shadow Corporation released a statement apologizing on his behalf.

Explicit Messages and Disturbing Nature

According to the victims, Clid sent explicit messages to them through the Korean messaging app KakaoTalk and Facebook. The agency’s statement confirmed the nature of the messages and deemed them disturbing. However, they have not taken any action against Clid.

Related Screenshots and Lack of Response

Screenshots of the messages were shared on Twitter by the victims. One victim, who was underage at the time, posted screenshots of messages received via Facebook. She claims that Clid was aware of her age. The victims reached out to Hanwha Life Esports to report the harassment and seek compensation for mental damages, but received no response.

It remains unclear how long Clid will be sidelined from HLE. Their upcoming match against Dplus KIA is scheduled for later today, followed by a match against Gen.G on July 2.

has contacted HLE for comment but has not received a response at this time.
