CLG Stays Committed: Full 2022 League Roster Returns for Next Year as Org Prioritizes Internal Development

Counter Logic Gaming Commits to Same Roster for 2023

Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) has announced their intention to stick with the same roster for the 2023 season of League of Legends, after a surprisingly decent performance in the 2022 Summer Split. Despite initial skepticism, the team is aiming to build on their recent successes in the hopes of continued improvement.

The Same Faces

The players Dhokla, Contractz, Palafox, Luger, and Poome will remain with CLG, showing their loyalty to the organization and their commitment to achieving even greater heights in the upcoming season.

A Fresh Start

CLG had previously struggled in the North American League of Legends scene, enduring several seasons at the bottom of the standings. However, after a complete overhaul of the roster and coaching staff, the team found new hope under the leadership of Jonathon McDaniel, who became the team’s new general manager.

Facing New Challenges

As they head into the 2023 Spring Split, CLG will be competing against rosters filled with talented players from around the world. While their synergy as a team has been established over the past year, they will need to continue honing their skills to keep up with other superstar-filled lineups in the LCS.
