CLG falls to Cloud9, suffering 0-2 weekend in the LCS

CLG Struggles in League of Legends Championship Series

CLG had a tough weekend in the League of Legends Championship Series. Their first match against TSM was challenging, resulting in only three kills and a 10,000 gold deficit. Things didn’t get any better in their second game against Cloud9.

In their match against Cloud9, CLG gave up first blood to Stixxay, but Cloud9 quickly recovered. Nisqy teleported to the bottom lane and scored a double kill on CLG’s ADC and jungler, furthering Cloud9’s advantage.

The misplays continued for CLG during a dragon fight later in the game. Sneaky picked up two kills, giving Cloud9 even more momentum. By the 25-minute mark, Cloud9 had secured all four dragons, taken two of CLG’s inhibitors, and had a significant kill advantage. CLG struggled to keep up and eventually lost the game.

In their 0-2 weekend, CLG was outslayed 21-7 and trailed by over 10,000 gold in both matches. Their midseason collapse was unexpected, especially considering their earlier victory against Cloud9. However, their upcoming matches against FlyQuest and Team Liquid won’t be any easier.
