Hanwha Life Esports Climbs in LCK Standings
After a rough start to the 2021 LCK Summer Split, Hanwha Life Esports is making a comeback. Led by their star mid laner, Chovy, the team has been securing victories with impressive performances. In their recent series against KT Rolster, Chovy’s pentakill on Akali sealed the deal for Hanwha Life Esports. With swift moves and aggressive flashes, Chovy helped his team reverse sweep KT after a difficult start. He received MVP votes for his outstanding plays on Sylas and Akali.
Chovy’s Impact on Hanwha Life Esports
Despite Hanwha Life Esports starting the Summer Split with one win and five losses, they have found their stride and are now on a three-game winning streak. Chovy, known as one of the best mid laners in the LCK, has been instrumental in this turnaround. Even in matches where his team loses, Chovy consistently delivers strong performances. However, when Chovy falls behind or is put on a non-carry champion, his team tends to struggle.
Pentakills in the LCK Summer Split
While the LCK is typically associated with a passive playstyle, thrilling teamfights occasionally result in pentakills. Chovy’s pentakill on Akali is the second one of the split, with Fredit BRION’s Lava securing the first during the opening match of the split.
