Changes in LoL Patch 13.11: Stormrazor and Echoes of Helia Weakened, Statikk Shiv Enhanced for Waveclear

League of Legends Patch 13.11: Balancing New Items and Changes Revealed

In the previous patch of League of Legends, players were introduced to multiple new items, such as a new support mythic, revamped assassin items, the return of an iconic marksman item, and changes to several others across all roles.

Now, in Patch 13.11, Riot Games is focusing on finding the right balance for these new items after giving players a whole patch to experiment. They have made a plethora of changes to major League items like Echoes of Helia, Statikk Shiv, Stormrazor, and Kraken Slayer as revealed by the developers on Twitter.

Echoes of Helia, added as an option for enchanters looking to deal more damage, will now have lower healing per shard in the early game and lower damage per shard in the late game to balance the item.

Last patch, several items were revamped for marksmen, including the return of Statikk Shiv. In Patch 13.11, Statikk Shiv will receive a 20 damage increase to its energized passive damage at all levels. It will also deal 30 percent more damage to minions, making it an excellent choice for champions in need of waveclear.

Kraken Slayer will also receive significant buffs in Patch 13.11, including a swap from magic to physical damage. It will also have scaling damage instead of static 20 damage, increased total AD ratios, and 15 percent more AP ratio damage.

However, not all changes are positive for AD mains. Galeforce, for example, will receive major nerfs to its effectiveness, including a 50 percent critical strike reduction and a 10 percent max execute damage reduction. Runaan’s Hurricane will deal 15 less on-hit damage, Youmuu’s Ghostblade will have less lethality and five less haste, and Stormrazor will have a small AD reduction and lower energize damage.

The developers are focusing on finding the right balance for these items in the current meta, considering the popularity of champions like Jinx, Xayah, Zeri, and Aphelios in solo queue and pro play. League Patch 13.11 is set to release on Thursday, June 1.
