Changes for Aatrox confirmed in Patch 7.5

Riot Confirms Aatrox Changes Coming in Patch 7.5

Riot has confirmed that the much-anticipated changes to Aatrox will be introduced in Patch 7.5. According to Andrei “Meddler” van Roon, Riot’s lead champion designer, the upcoming patch will include balance changes for Aatrox. Meddler stated that the intention behind these changes is not to completely fix Aatrox, but rather to improve his current state until a larger update can be implemented. This update will focus on better incorporating Aatrox’s lore and making him more distinctive from other champions.

While these changes are not the final alterations for Aatrox, they have the potential to make him more competitively viable in the current League of Legends ecosystem. Aatrox has been relatively overlooked since his release, and these updates demonstrate Riot’s commitment to revitalizing older champions and making them more viable in the competitive scene.

We will provide an update as soon as the official changes are released.
