Champion Buffs Revealed for League Patch 12.4: Neeko, Lucian, Nami among those included

League of Legends Patch 12.4 to Introduce Multiple Champion Buffs

Riot Games has announced that the upcoming League of Legends Patch 12.4 will bring a fresh round of buffs to strengthen champions in various roles across the map.

Buff Details Revealed

In a recent tweet, Riot Phlox, a designer on the Summoner’s Rift team, shared some details about the buffs players can expect in Patch 12.4. These changes aim to enhance the meta’s diversity and provide more viable options for players.

Role-Specific Buffs

Top lane champions Aatrox, Illaoi, and Sett will receive buffs in this patch. Aatrox’s Q sweet spots will deal increased damage, Illaoi will have a slightly higher base attack speed and W max health damage, and Sett will gain slightly more health per level, which could also boost his performance as a support.

The only significant jungle change will be to Amumu, who will receive a slight increase in damage reduction on his E. The mid lane champions benefiting from buffs are Rumble and Neeko. Rumble will have increased armor to better combat assassins, while Neeko’s hitbox will be smaller. She will also deal more damage with her additional Q pops and have a lower cooldown on her W.

To diversify the ADC meta, four marksmen, including Ashe, Xayah, and Kalista, will be tuned to increase their value as picks. Ashe’s R will gain speed as it travels longer, Xayah’s E will have a higher crit damage multiplier, and Kalista will receive a small damage buff.

The potent bot lane duo, Lucian and Nami, will both receive buffs. Lucian’s Q will have a reduced mana cost, and Nami’s E will revert to its original damage output, potentially restoring their preseason strength.

Release Date and Additional Changes

Patch 12.4 is set to release on February 16, and alongside the buffs, it will also include nerfs to powerful champions and address the issue of Smite support top laners.

Please note that these buff details are subject to change before the patch goes live on the servers.
