Challenger team Imagine undergoes complete roster overhaul

Imagine Esports Overhauls Roster for League of Legends Challenger Series

North American League of Legends Challenger side Imagine made significant changes to its roster last week and competed with a completely new squad in its recent match against Renegades.

The organization replaced the players who helped it qualify for the Challenger Series: Ryan “Big Ol Ron” Ballard, Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett, Michael “Wolfe” Taylor, Cody “Massacre” Sun, and Paul “Indivisible” Nguyen.

In their place, a new set of players have arrived, joining from a mixture of different Challenger teams, including Frank Fang Gaming, Odyssey, and MAelstrom (Imagine’s parent organization.) The team has recruited Joshua “Chunkyfresh” Kesrawani as top laner, Galen “Moon” Holgate as jungler, Zachary “Mancloud” Allan Hoscher as mid laner, Ritchie “Intense” Nguyen as marksman, and Terry “Baby” Chuong as support. Additionally, they have brought in Frank “Soloside” Fang and Ana “Ana” Xjor as managers.

In response to the changes, former team jungler Hartnett took to Twitter to explain the situation and requested the community not to hold anything against the new players.

The original Imagine squad formed after Team SoloMid Darkness disbanded and was acquired by MAelstrom on May 26. The team currently holds a 2-3 record in the Challenger Series. Their next match with the new roster is tonight at 9pm ET against Renegades, and the match will be broadcasted on Riot Games Twitch channel.
