Candy Panda in talks with SK Gaming while Forg1ven seeks new opportunities

Adrian “Candy Panda” Wübbelmann in Talks to Join SK Gaming

According to sources close to the organization, Adrian “Candy Panda” Wübbelmann is currently negotiating to join SK Gaming, as reported by the Daily Dot.

Wübbelmann is among the three European marksmen rejoining their former teams this season. Erik “Tabzz” Van Helvert plans to return to Elements, while Martin “Rekkles” Larsson will once again suit up for Fnatic in the Summer Split.

Wübbelmann would be joining Christoph “nRated” Seitz, who will continue with SK despite a disappointing performance in the Spring Split and rumors of being replaced. Wübbelmann will replace Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou, who had conflicts with teammates throughout the season.

Last week, Tzortziou requested a trade from SK following a poor finish in the European League of Legends Championship Series Spring Playoffs.

Wübbelmann’s return may be seen as a step down from Tzortziou, who was considered the best marksman in the region and one of the best in the West. This move seems like a last resort for SK, as they missed out on signing Larsson and were turned down by Aleš “Freeze” Kněžínek of Copenhagen Wolves.

Tzortziou’s future is uncertain. Although he has shown impressive performances, his attitude and clashes with teammates may affect his chances of finding a new team.

At the time of publication, SK Gaming has not responded to requests for comment.
