Broxah’s Unavailability for Week 3 of LCS Spring Split; Aims to Reunite with Liquid in Week 4

Broxah’s Visa Approved, but Will Not Start for Team Liquid This Weekend

After several weeks of visa issues, Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen, star jungler for Team Liquid, has finally received approval for his visa. However, according to Liquid co-CEO Steve Arhancet, Broxah will not be starting for the team this weekend. Arhancet remains hopeful that Broxah will be able to join the team in North America for week four of the 2020 LCS Spring Split. In the meantime, Shern “Shernfire” Cherng Tai will continue to fill in for Broxah’s position while he remains in Europe.

Team Liquid’s Performance and Broxah’s Potential

The past two weeks have not been the strongest for Team Liquid, with the team currently tied for fourth place with a 2-2 record. Despite hard-fought losses to Team Dignitas and Cloud9, the team’s true potential has yet to be unlocked with the addition of Broxah. The 22-year-old superstar, known as one of the best junglers in the LEC, played a key role in Fnatic’s journey to the World Championship Finals in 2018.

Visa issues have affected several players in the NA region this year, including Shernfire, who also faced trouble before week one of the season. Evil Geniuses had to bring in replacements for their Academy starters, jungler Andy “AnDa” Hoang and mid laner Aidan “5fire” Reckamp, due to visa issues preventing their arrival in the U.S.

Upcoming Matches and Broxah’s Arrival

Team Liquid has a relatively easier weekend ahead, facing off against 100 Thieves and Golden Guardians on Summoner’s Rift. The team will aim to maintain stability before the potential arrival of Broxah next week.
