Broxah offers update on uncertain comeback to competitive League of Legends in 2023

Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen Joins Team Liquid for 2023

After a year away from professional League of Legends, Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen has announced that he will continue his career with Team Liquid for 2023. Broxah had taken a break from competitive play last year to focus on content creation for a new organization.

Broxah’s last appearance on the main stage was in 2021 with CLG. During his break, he dedicated his time to playing League of Legends and growing his streaming community.

The League of Legends veteran, who has competed in both LEC and LCS for almost a decade, expressed his openness to returning to professional play in the future. However, his current focus is creating content across multiple platforms to entertain and educate the League of Legends community.

In a Twitter post, Broxah shared, “At the end of last year, I decided that while I’m still motivated and confident in my abilities as a player, teammate, and leader, I’m not going to accept just any offer. It would simply need to feel right.”

Before joining CLG, Broxah played as Liquid’s LCS jungler for a year and came close to winning the Summer Split playoffs in his debut year. He credits the values of those around him for his current position with Team Liquid.

In addition to his competitive career, Broxah has been actively involved in the League of Legends community in Denmark. He has visited schools, including his own high school, to share his experiences as a professional player and provide guidance to aspiring players.

In 2022, Broxah made appearances as a guest analyst on LEC broadcasts. He expressed his willingness to continue such appearances if given the opportunity. As for his plans for the second half of the year, they remain uncertain for now.
