Brand somehow kills a LoL player while innocently clearing a wave

Sometimes, League of Legends is just random—and a recent Brand play perfectly highlights this.

On June 3, a League player posted an unpleasant film from one of their games to Reddit. The player was pressing the bottom lane to build map pressure when the opponent Brand cleared the wave with a straightforward W+E combo. This set off a chain reaction, destroying both the minions and Twisted Fate in seconds.

The Card Master was pressing alongside a minion wave, and all Brand did was attack them with two spells. Conflagration (E) spread and inflicted magic damage to nearby opponents, including Twisted Fate. Combined with Elder Dragon’s boost, the champion died in a matter of seconds despite having 100 percent health at the start of the “standoff.”

While weird clips frequently generate buzz among the League community, this one is unlike anything we have seen before. On Reddit, a player commented, “Twisted Fate has 2600hp…nah, this does not feel legal wtf.” Furthermore, Yohneh was equipped with the Chemtech Soul during the play, which provided them with additional resistances. However, given Brand’s all-in setup, which includes Blackfire Torch, Liandry’s Torment, and Malignance, it is not unexpected that he deals so much damage.

It turns out that this clip is not the only example of Brand’s potential supremacy recently. At the time of writing, the champion has the third-best win rate in the mid lane in Patch 14.11 with 52.40 percent, according to a League stat site, U.GG. So, if you are terrified of the demonic champion, it is understandable to prohibit him.
