Evil Geniuses Confirms Rookie Marksmen for 2022 League of Legends World Championship

Evil Geniuses, one of the top representatives of the LCS, has announced that they will be attending the 2022 League of Legends World Championship with a rookie marksman. Muhammed Hasan “Kaori” Şentürk, the Academy AD carry, will be joining the team for the event.

Danny’s Break and Kaori’s Arrival

EG CEO Nicole LaPointe Jameson made the announcement on social media, mentioning that the organization will continue to support Danny as Kaori joins the team. Danny, EG’s sophomore superstar, took a step back from professional play after their series against Team Liquid in the third round.

Kaori’s Promising Debut

During the 2022 LCS Championship semifinals against 100 Thieves, EG struggled without Danny’s teamfighting skills. However, the team managed to push through a challenging five-game series. Although they fell short of their goal of consecutive championships, Kaori showed promise in his first LCS appearance despite having limited practice time with his new teammates.

What’s Next for EG?
