Bel’Veth, Nautilus, and other champions ascend to celestial heights with latest League of Legends skins

League of Legends Champions Set to Receive New Cosmic Skins

A few champions from League of Legends are about to embark on an extraterrestrial adventure, leaving behind the world of Runeterra and venturing into the depths of space, where they will be bathed in the radiant light of the stars.

Riot Games has announced its plans to expand the popular Cosmic skin line with new skins for Nautilus, Bel’Veth, Nunu and Willump, and Sion. Many of these champions have not received a new skin in quite some time. These new skins are expected to be added to League of Legends with the release of Patch 13.17 on Aug. 30.

Exciting New Additions to the Cosmic Skin Line

The Cosmic universe has a history of providing skins for lesser-known champions, such as Skarner, Kassadin, and Illaoi. In the previous iteration of the skin line, Lux received multiple skins as part of a special event. However, it seems that this event type will not be returning this time.

Notably, the new skin for Bel’Veth is her first since her release last year. As the Empress of the Void, her involvement in the Cosmic skin line portrays her as a devourer of the stars. When she transforms with her ultimate ability, her body radiates a celestial glow. Despite her menacing appearance, her coloration and recall animation suggest that she may not have evil intentions with this skin, which is a departure from her usual character.

Exciting New Cosmetic Revealed

A teaser also revealed a new cosmetic for Jhin that is not a Mythic Chroma. Initially, some fans thought that the teaser indicated a new Mythic chroma for Dark Cosmic Jhin. However, the truth is yet to be revealed, as players will have to wait for more information about this upcoming cosmetic.

Cosmic Skins Coming Soon

The dazzling Cosmic skins will soon be available for testing on the PBE, with a release date set for Aug. 30 alongside the launch of League Patch 13.17.
