Bang apologizes for his actions

SK Telecom T1’s Bang Releases Statement About Incident in LoL Worlds Finals

Bang, the AD Carry for SK Telecom T1, has officially released a statement addressing an incident that occurred during game four of the 2016 League of Legends Worlds finals against Samsung Galaxy.

In his statement, Bang explains why he quit the game early before the Nexus exploded, even though Samsung Galaxy was making a comeback and forcing a fifth game in the series.

Bang Joins Other Players in Offering Apologies

This apology from Bang adds to a growing list of players at the World Championships who have publicly apologized for their behavior. For example, Albus NoX Luna’s support player, Likkrit, apologized for not shaking hands with ROX Tigers after his team’s loss.

You can find the original statement from Bang on his Facebook page.

Bang's Apology

English Translation

“In today’s (fourth game) match, I left the match before it ended. I just noticed it too, I swear it. In my four-year career, I have never rage-quit in professional or solo-queue games. Even though I did not quit intentionally in the finals, I am disappointed with myself and I am angry. (I was angry with myself in that moment.) I couldn’t believe it happened. I asked Riot to watch my replay, and with my teammates’ reaction, I think I really did it. I am truly sorry. Thank you for always cheering for us.”
