Ashe’s win rate drops to 0-6 in 2020 LEC Summer Split following G2’s defeat against Origen

Ashe Struggles in the 2020 LEC Summer Split

G2 Esports suffered a surprising loss to Origen in week five of the 2020 LEC Summer Split, further extending Ashe’s winless streak in Europe. AD carry Perkz, a superstar player, struggled to avoid being caught out by Origen’s aggressive composition with Jarvan IV and Malphite. Perkz ended the game with three deaths, no kills, and only one assist.

Ashe’s Lackluster Performance

Ashe’s poor performance is not new to the European stage. In the six games played, she has averaged less than one kill per game, with over three deaths and under four assists. Despite her utility with Hawkshot and long-range engage with her ultimate ability, many teams are capitalizing on her vulnerability to heavy engage compositions. If not positioned properly or lacking sufficient protection, Ashe falls victim to assassins and crowd control.

Struggles of Other Champions

Ashe isn’t the only champion struggling in the 2020 LEC Summer Split. Graves and Karma have also failed to secure any wins in their respective games. This raises concerns for EU teams and their reliance on Ashe as there are plenty of other effective team compositions available.
