Artist’s Fan Creation: Veigar Envisions Arcana Theme for League of Legends

Riot Games Introduces New Skin Thematics in League of Legends

Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends, releases a variety of new skin themes every year to enhance the cosmetic options for each champion in the game. While not all of these themes are successful, some gain immense popularity, leaving fans hopeful for their return in the future.

A Reddit user recently created a concept for a new Veigar skin that aligns with the Arcana thematic introduced in League last year. This skin line features Camille, Xerath, Lucian, and Tahm Kench in a captivating gothic fashion, drawing inspiration from tarot card designs.

Here is the link to the Reddit post.

In this fan concept of Arcana Veigar, Veigar’s appearance transforms into that of a wizard, deviating from his base skin. His iconic hat takes on a more sinister look, and one of his hands emits a bright orange glow, as if tainted by his magical powers. The artist also provided a glimpse of the model and abilities of this concept, incorporating the eerie orange glow throughout Veigar’s kit.

The artist’s rendition of Arcana Veigar bears a resemblance to Vivi, the Black Mage from Final Fantasy IX, with his face hidden beneath a large hat. Additionally, the concept shares similarities with the Heartless from the Kingdom Hearts series, featuring beady yellow eyes.

Despite gaining instant popularity among fans for its potential to showcase champions with fewer skins in a new light, the Arcana thematic has not returned to League since its release in 2021. It remains uncertain if this skin line will make a comeback in the near future.
