Analyzing SK Telecom T1’s Full 9-Man Roster for the 2019 Season

After a week of constant roster changes, including signing new players, releasing old ones, and dealing with free agency, the off-season’s roster madness is finally slowing down. Many teams from major regions, including three-time world champions SK Telecom T1, are finalizing their rosters for the upcoming competitive season.

The SKT roster for 2019 is almost completely new, with only a few players remaining from the previous roster. In just a few days, SKT managed to pick up a group of talented players, creating what is now known as the “super team” of the LCK, a title previously held by KT Rolster.

Here is the full nine-man roster that SKT will be fielding in 2019.

## Top lane: Kim “Khan” Dong-ha

Khan is a well-known name in the League of Legends community. He was the star player for Longzhu Gaming in 2017 and became famous for his mechanical skill and ability to draw multiple enemy players to his lane.

## Top lane: Kim “Crazy” Jae-hee

Crazy is a less notable player, with most of his experience coming from playing for bbq Olivers, one of the LCK’s weaker teams. He has the opportunity to learn and grow with SKT’s veterans.

## Jungle: Kang “Haru” Min-seung

Haru is a recognizable player, having been part of Samsung Galaxy when they won the 2017 Summoner’s Cup. Despite a less successful 2018, Haru is considered one of the top junglers in the region.

## Jungle: Kim “Clid” Tae-min

Clid is a less experienced player but has shown promise in the LPL. SKT picked him as their backup jungler, hoping to unlock his potential.

## Bot lane: Park “Teddy” Jin-seong

Teddy may not have as much international recognition as some of his teammates, but he has proven himself as a strong player in the LCK. With the support of his veteran teammates, Teddy has the potential to become one of the best bot lane carries in the LCK.

## Bot lane: Han “Leo” Gyeo-re

Leo is a newcomer to the professional scene, but he has shown promise in Korean solo queue. With SKT, he will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best players in the game.

## Support: Cho “Mata” Se-hyeong

Mata is a well-known support player who was part of KT Rolster’s super team. He brings shotcalling abilities to the SKT roster and will be a valuable addition to the team.

## Support: Lee “Effort” Sang-ho

Effort is a former SKT player and will serve as the backup support for the team in 2019.

## Mid lane: Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok

Faker needs no introduction, as he is considered one of the best players in the world. With numerous championships under his belt, Faker will lead this new roster in their quest for redemption.

While this new roster may face challenges in terms of communication and synergy, the individual skill of the players, particularly Faker, suggests a strong playoffs run and a potential appearance at Worlds. Anything less would be a disappointment for this stacked roster.
