Analyzing Roster Movements: The Reason Behind Freeze?

The News is Official: Renegades Signs Freeze as their ADC for 2016 Spring Split

Renegades has finally confirmed the anticipated roster move by signing Freeze as their ADC for the upcoming Spring Split. This decision has been in the works for a while, ever since Maplestreet stepped down on November 7th. Following this announcement, rumors about RNG Freeze began to circulate.

Freeze – The Hyped ADC with a Strong Performance

Freeze has been an ADC who has garnered a lot of attention in the last few splits. Despite Copenhagen Wolves’ disappointing 4-14 season in the Summer Split, Freeze decided to stick with the team. Throughout the turmoil, Freeze showcased his great mechanical skill and carried the team with his outstanding stats. His signature champion Draven became a mandatory ban against him.

Impressive Stats in the Face of Team Struggles

Even though Copenhagen Wolves couldn’t escape the auto-relegation spot, Freeze’s statistics were still incredible. Despite being surrounded by team chemistry issues and playing with different support players, Freeze managed to perform at a top level. When comparing his stats with other ADCs in the 2015 EU Summer Split, Freeze showed his prowess in areas such as CS Differential@10 Minutes, Kill Participation, and Percentage of Team’s Damage.

Renegades’ Decision to Add Freeze

Knowing Maplestreet’s supportive play style, Renegades had to consider whether Freeze’s carry style would be a good fit for the team. However, when comparing their stats, Freeze has proven himself against LCS competition and is a significant upgrade over Maplestreet. If Renegades can perform slightly better than the Copenhagen Wolves did last split, Freeze will be a valuable addition to the team.
