An emerging LoL champion duo dominates as top bottom lane combo in Patch 13.21

Miss Fortune and Rakan Dominate the Bottom Lane in League of Legends

In the latest League of Legends patch, 13.21, Riot Games made several changes to balance the game. Surprisingly, two champions that were not impacted by the update, Miss Fortune and Rakan, have emerged as the top picks for the bottom lane.

According to U.GG, an aggregate of League stats, this duo currently holds a dominant 55 percent win rate in Platinum and higher ranks. Their success as a pair is unprecedented and a recent development in the game.

Interestingly, both champions have undergone no adjustments in the last two patches and are usually not seen together. Miss Fortune is typically paired with champions like Blitzcrank, Nautilus, Leona, and Thresh, while Rakan usually sticks to Xayah, Kai’Sa, and Ezreal.

Despite this, the synergy between Miss Fortune and Rakan is undeniable. Miss Fortune works well with support champions that can immobilize enemies while she unleashes her barrage of bullets. Although Rakan may not be as durable as her usual partners, his crowd control abilities complement Miss Fortune’s playstyle.

Rakan’s movement and shielding spells also provide excellent protection for Miss Fortune and open opportunities for impactful trades. When it comes to teamfighting, their combined strength is unparalleled. Their ability to execute a devastating combo from outside enemy vision is a significant threat to their foes.

During fights around objectives, Rakan can surprise enemies with a flash-ulti, allowing Miss Fortune to unleash her long-range Bullet Time ultimate. This makes them a formidable force that opposing players must be cautious of and have countermeasures ready.
