Amazon and EU Masters join forces for League season till 2022

Amazon Partners with EU Masters for Summer 2021 League of Legends Event

Amazon is teaming up with EU Masters for the Summer 2021 edition of the popular game League of Legends. As part of the partnership, the tournament will now be known as “Amazon European Masters.” Riot Games, the organizer of the event, stated that Amazon will work together with the European Masters to create a unified shopping experience for fans. Additionally, they will explore ways to create a destination for fans to support the tournament and the participating teams. The partnership will continue for future editions of the tournament during the next competitive season.

EU Masters Tournament and Amazon Collaboration

The EU Masters tournament traditionally holds two events each year, one in the spring and one in the summer. The Summer 2021 edition of the tournament has already begun. In a statement, the Senior Head of Business Development at Riot Games Europe expressed excitement about welcoming Amazon as the first partner to give its name to this European competition. The collaboration between Amazon and Riot Games extends beyond the Summer 2021 edition, with two more tournaments scheduled for 2022.

Previous Collaborations between Amazon and Riot

Amazon and Riot have collaborated in the past, particularly in sponsorships. The two companies have partnered to provide free in-game skin shards to League of Legends players who link their Riot and Amazon Prime accounts.

The main event of the Summer 2021 edition of Amazon European Masters has begun and will continue until September 19. Fans can follow the tournament to see the stars of the European regional leagues compete at a high level.
