Illaoi’s New Skin “Resistance Illaoi” Almost Ready to Launch
Riot recently announced that Illaoi, the champion in League of Legends, is getting her first skin since her release in 2015. The skin, called “Resistance Illaoi,” was originally known as “Battlecast Illaoi” and is a result of player voting. Riot has been keeping the community updated on the design process throughout.
In the latest update, Riot shared that the skin is almost finished, including the splash art. The name of the skin was changed from “Battlecast” to “Resistance” to better align with the skin’s story. Illaoi, being a half-robot fighting against Viktor’s robots, fits perfectly into the human-led resistance within the Battlecast parallel universe.
The release is scheduled for Patch 8.5, which means players can expect to see Resistance Illaoi in-game in about a month.
