Winter-themed Skins are Coming to League of Legends After Two-Year Hiatus
League of Legends players can look forward to winter-themed skins for the first time since 2019. The Snowdown Showdown in-game event is finally making a return after a two-year break, just in time for the holiday season.
Introducing the Winterblessed Skin Line
Riot Games recently previewed a new skin line called “Winterblessed” on Nov. 14. This skin line includes new skins for six champions: Diana, Zoe, Swain, Shaco, Zilean, and Warwick. Additionally, Warwick will be receiving a prestige edition of his Winterblessed skin.

The Intricate Design of the Winterblessed Skin Line
The Winterblessed skin line features a color palette of soft blues, greens, and purples. Inspired by dark ice and the mesmerizing visuals of the northern lights, these skins are among the most detailed and visually stunning of the year.

A Departure from Traditional Winter-themed Skins
The Winterblessed skin line breaks away from Riot’s previous winter-themed skin lines. Both its art direction and in-game lore have a more mature and sophisticated feel compared to the lighthearted “Santa’s Workshop” skins from previous years.
