Aladoric Joins Chiefs for LCO 2022 Split Two, to Replace Dragku in Lineup

The Chiefs Make Roster Change After LCO 2022 Split One Loss

The Chiefs, who recently suffered a defeat against ORDER in the LCO 2022 Split One Grand Finals, are making a slight adjustment to their League of Legends roster. According to sources, ex-PEACE support Ryan “Aladoric” Richardson is expected to join the starting lineup, replacing Dragon “Dragku” Guo.

Aladoric, who played with Chiefs mid laner James “Tally” Shute at the World Championship in Iceland last season, was unable to secure a starting spot in the LCO Split One this year.

Chiefs Building a Championship Squad

The Chiefs made significant moves to build a championship-winning team this year. They acquired Immortals bot laner Quin “Raes” Korebrits, two-time Worlds representative Tally, and import duo Kim “Topoon” Ji-hoon and Park “Arthur” Mi-reu. The organization decided to keep support star Dragku, the only player from their previous LCO 2021 campaign.

With an impressive 19-2 record in the regular season, the Chiefs clinched the top seed. They had a thrilling 3-2 victory against Pentanet.GG in the playoffs upper bracket, showcasing their dominance. However, they fell short in the grand finals against ORDER, causing them to make adjustments for Split Two.

New Chiefs Lineup for LCO 2022 Split Two

The Chiefs’ updated lineup for LCO 2022 Split Two includes: Kim “Topoon” Ji-hoon, Park “Arthur” Mi-reu, James “Tally” Shute, Quin “Raes” Korebrits, and Ryan “Aladoric” Richardson.

It is worth noting that Dragku, who played a stellar role as a support after transitioning from the top lane and was named first-team All-Pro in LCO 2022 Split One, will be left without a starting spot in the new lineup. reports that there were discussions of Dragku finding a place in North America for the upcoming Summer split, but those plans fell through.

If Dragku fails to secure a spot on another Oceanic team before the start of Split Two, he may still serve as the Chiefs’ reserve player for the LCO season.

Meanwhile, Aladoric is making a return to LCO after a four-month period without a team. Prior to his break, he spent a year with PEACE and had the opportunity to leave the organization midway through 2021 but chose to stay and eventually represented the region at Worlds.

Aladoric has a wealth of experience, having played 93 top-flight domestic games in the OPL and LCO. He began his League career with Legacy Genesis in 2017 and made his professional debut with The Chiefs in the OPL in the same season.
