Akali’s Winrate Likely to Improve after Patch 9.3

Akali to Receive Buffs in League of Legends

In the gaming world of League of Legends, Akali has had a rough time. After the release of Sylas in Patch 9.2, Sylas took the title of the worst champion in the game. But then, Patch 9.3 brought nerfs for Akali, pushing her winrates even lower.

According to stats site Champion.gg, Akali currently has a winrate of 42% in the top lane and 38% in the mid lane, making her the worst champion to play in both positions. However, there is good news for Akali enthusiasts. Riot has finally announced plans to give her some buffs, as mentioned in their post on the official forums.

The downside is that the community has no clue as to what these buffs might entail. Riot has been vague in their description, stating that they want to stabilize her before implementing the buffs. Unfortunately, there is no information on whether these buffs will be included in the next PBE patch.

As of now, Akali fans can only hope that the buffs address her needs. Without reliable healing on her Q and true invisibility on her shroud, she lacks the unique features that made her stand out. If Riot doesn’t restore her abilities, she will become just another mediocre assassin, especially since her damage is not exceptional compared to other assassins in the game.

If any changes are made to Akali, they will likely be implemented in Patch 9.5, meaning that her fans will have to wait for over two more weeks to see her in an improved state.
