Afreeca Freecs eliminate KT Rolster, securing a spot in the LCK Spring Split final

Afreeca Freecs Qualifies for LCK Spring Split Final with a 3-1 Victory

For the first time in their organization’s history, Afreeca Freecs has qualified for the LCK Spring Split final after an impressive 3-1 win over KT Rolster. This is a significant accomplishment for Afreeca, who have been part of the league for almost three years but have never made it to a best-of-five match.

In the match against KT Rolster, known for their strong performance in best-of-five series, Afreeca faced a challenging task. After losing the first game, things looked difficult for Afreeca. However, they quickly turned the tide in their favor. They utilized unconventional picks like Malphite and mid lane Yasuo, which gave them an advantage over KT.

Games two and four were dominant performances by Afreeca. They took an early lead and never let go, securing decisive victories. The third game was a back and forth battle, with both teams struggling to gain the upper hand. However, a poor decision by KT to go for the Cloud Drake gave Afreeca the opportunity to push into their opponent’s base and win the game.

With their qualification for the LCK Spring Split final, Afreeca will now face KINGZONE DragonX in Busan on April 14. It will be a clash between the top teams in Korea to determine the country’s number one team.
