League of Legends’ Most Popular Champion, Smolder, to receive adjustments in Patch 14.5
The developers at Riot Games have announced that Smolder, the beloved little dragon in League of Legends, will be undergoing some adjustments in the upcoming Patch 14.5. While the developers are generally satisfied with Smolder’s power level, they do acknowledge the need for a few changes.
The Status of Smolder and Its Future Changes
Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, the lead gameplay designer for League of Legends, recently discussed the current state of Smolder and addressed the changes it still requires. In the Patch 14.5 preview on February 27th, which included updates for 20 different champions, Phroxzon stated that Smolder is “highly popular and relatively balanced.” As a result, the developers have no plans for drastic alterations to the champion in the near future.
