Academy ADC Innaxe Replaces FORG1VEN in Schalke 04’s Week 4 Matches

Schalke 04 Academy AD Carry Innaxe to Start in Week Four of LEC

Schalke 04 Esports has made a change to their League of Legends roster for week four of the LEC. Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev from the academy team will replace Konstantinos-Napoleon “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou as the AD carry. With a disappointing 0-6 start to the season, Schalke 04 is bringing in talent from their undefeated academy team.

Schalke mentioned on Twitter that Innaxe has been a crucial part of their 7-0 winning streak in the Prime League and has shown consistent improvement in the European Regional Leagues, thereby making him ready for LEC.

This move aligns with the organization’s vision to give LEC opportunities to academy players who perform well. However, Schalke still values FORG1VEN’s dedication to the team and considers him an important part of the roster for the Spring and Summer Split.

FORG1VEN announced on Twitter that he has stepped down from the team because they are unwilling to make necessary changes to the roster for improvement.

This is the second time Schalke has promoted an academy player to the LEC team. In the previous week, Lukas “Lurox” Thoma replaced Erberk “Gilius” Demir as the jungler, but the team still experienced losses in both series.

However, with Lurox and Innaxe having prior experience playing together on the successful academy team, this change may help rejuvenate Schalke’s struggling performance.

Innaxe will make his LEC debut against Rogue tomorrow at 2pm CT and will also face the undefeated G2 Esports on Feb. 15.
