A Strong Role in Season 13 of LoL: Major Shakeup Anticipated with Patch 13.10

League of Legends Patch 13.10: Changes Coming to AD Carries Meta

Season 13 in League of Legends has been relatively stable in terms of meta changes. However, with the arrival of Patch 13.10, the meta for AD carries is about to undergo a shift with the introduction of new and modified items.

Currently, four out of the top five champions with the highest win rates are ADCs, including Swain, Seraphine, Karthus, and Nilah, as reported by U.GG, a popular League stats tracking website. While these changes won’t directly impact the ability power champs, they will have an effect on many attack damage marksmen.

Some of the items being altered or added in Patch 13.10 are Bloodthirster, Galeforce, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Immortal Shieldbow, Infinity Edge, Kraken Slayer, Kircheis Shard, Mortal Reminder, Navori Quickblades, Phantom Dancer, Rageknife, Rapid Firecannon, Runaan’s Hurricane, Stormrazor, and The Collector.

If you are an ADC main or enjoy playing ADC champions, you are likely familiar with many of these items and their importance for specific champions.

In Patch 13.10, most of these items have been buffed or received new passives. However, items like Kircheis Shard and Immortal Shieldbow no longer provide additional attack speed bonuses. This can pose a problem for players who rely on attack speed rather than damage percentage to chip away at their enemy’s health.

For example, Nilah has the highest win rate when equipped with Bloodthirster, Immortal Shieldbow, and Phantom Dancer. However, with the changes to Immortal Shieldbow, it no longer offers bonus attack speed. Although Phantom Dancer and Immortal Shieldbow receive a slight increase in attack speed, it may not be enough to make up for the loss from the new Immortal Shieldbow.

As a result, players may want to consider opting for Kraken Slayer or choosing another AD item entirely for the increased attack speed.

Kog’Maw’s build often includes Blade of the Ruined King, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, and Runaan’s Hurricane. However, with the Patch 13.10 changes, there will be a decrease in attack speed and an increase in the cost of these items. Players will need to be mindful while shopping and adapt their strategies accordingly.

The changes in Patch 13.10 will have a significant impact on how champions like Jinx, Miss Fortune, Lucian, and others are built. Players will need to reconsider which stats or bonuses to prioritize as there is a noticeable reduction in attack speed bonuses offered by many items.

Overall, the midseason Patch 13.10 changes hitting the live servers on Thursday, May 18, will bring a new feel to the game and shake up the meta.
