League of Legends Patch 13.14: Shyvana Dominates Summoner’s Rift
The recent League of Legends Patch 13.14 introduced the new Arena mode and marked the first mid-season ranked reset. However, it also witnessed the rise of Shyvana, a dominant jungler taking over Summoner’s Rift.
Shyvana currently holds the top win rate of 53.87% across all ranks, making her one of the strongest champions in the game. This win rate has significantly increased since the previous patch, where Shyvana had a win rate of 50.73%. The buffs from Patch 13.14 have propelled her to the top, according to League stats site U.GG.
With the latest patch, Riot has buffed Shyvana’s abilities, enhancing Twin Bite’s bonus physical damage and adding increased attack speed for the next two attacks. Additionally, they have introduced bonus AD scaling on Flame Breath. These changes have contributed to Shyvana’s increased dominance and win rate.
Furthermore, a new build has emerged, focusing on a Press the Attack and Nashor’s Tooth rush build. Players then follow up with Night Harvester, Titanic Hydra, Rabadon’s Deathcap, and Sterak’s Gage. This build allows Shyvana to clear the jungle quickly, deal significant damage to squishy champions, and survive critical situations.
Alternatively, some players opt for a bruiser build, including items like Blade of the Ruined King, Iceborn Gauntlet, Titanic Hydra, and defensive items. Shyvana’s versatility doesn’t end there; another viable build involves a crit build utilizing Navori Quickblades and Essence Reaver.
The second split of the 2023 ranked season in League of Legends began with Patch 13.14. If players are struggling to find success, it might be worth trying out Shyvana jungle before potential nerfs from Riot.
