T1’s Talent Development Shines in 2021 LCK Summer Split

Eight out of the nine teams participating in the 2021 LCK Summer Split have a former SKT player or trainee on their roster, excluding T1. This was pointed out by Reddit user horatioe. The only team without a player from the winningest League of Legends organization, T1, is DRX who are currently ranked last in the standings.

T1 has been a talent factory for years, developing numerous players. While not all players thrive under T1, many of them eventually find success elsewhere. Some former T1 players who are still competing in the LCK include Peanut and Gori from Nongshim RedForce, Clid and Burdol from Gen.G, Effort from Liiv SANDBOX, Khan from DWG KIA, Leo and Bang from Afreeca Freecs, Willer from Hanwha Life Esports, Lava and Delight from Fredit BRION, and Blank from KT.

T1 stands out among other organizations in terms of talent development. They have fostered more new talent that can compete at the highest level compared to any other team. Even though some former players have retired, many are still active in various regions. T1’s recruiting efforts show exceptional strength.

T1 is currently tied for fourth place in the 2021 LCK Summer Split with a 9-6 record. Their next match will be against second-place Gen.G on Friday, Aug. 6.
