3 Western Players Secure Top 10 KDA Rankings in MSI 2022 Rumble Stage

2022 Mid-Season Invitational: Top Performers Revealed

Royal Never Give Up (RNG) from the LPL secured the top spot in the rumble stage of the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). T1, G2 Esports, and Evil Geniuses followed closely behind, claiming second, third, and fourth place. Now, all eyes are on the knockout stage to see who will be crowned the new MSI champion. In the meantime, let’s take a look at some of the standout stats from the event.

RNG, as expected, dominated the KDA rankings in the rumble stage. However, there were also three western players who made their way into the top 10.

In terms of KDA, four RNG players topped the charts. GALA, Xiaohu, Wei, and Ming recorded impressive KDAs of 7.9, 6.8, 6.2, and 4.7, respectively, as reported by Oracle’s Elixir, a renowned League of Legends stat site.

Following the LPL representatives, three T1 players also showcased their skills. Oner, Faker, and Gumayusi secured the fifth, sixth, and seventh positions with KDAs of 4.6, 4.3, and 4.2, respectively.

EG players Inspired, Danny, and jojopyun rounded out the top 10 in terms of KDA. Inspired, the Polish jungler, emerged as the top performer within his team with a KDA of 4.0. The AD carry and mid laner, Danny and jojopyun, respectively, achieved a respectable KDA of 3.7.

On the other hand, G2’s players Broken Blade and Targamas recorded KDAs of 3.3, placing them in 14th and 15th positions. Remarkably, all of EG’s players outperformed G2 in the rumble stage. Among the major regions, Flakked had the lowest KDA with 2.6. Nevertheless, G2 managed to secure third place in the rumble stage without losing a single game against EG throughout the tournament.
