2022 Spring Split Week 7: LEC’s Outstanding Team

The 2022 LEC Spring Split Playoff Race Heats Up

The 2022 LEC Spring Split is nearing its end, with only one week left in the regular season. The race for the final playoff spots is still up in the air among several League of Legends teams.

Team Vitality boosted their chances of making it to the playoffs by winning two crucial matches against SK Gaming and Misfits. Meanwhile, Fnatic continued their pursuit of Rogue’s first-place position with their third consecutive victory. Additionally, Vetheo made a strong case for an All-Pro First Team nomination with an impressive performance over the weekend.

Vitality’s Alphari

Before the start of the season, Vitality was expected to be a dominant force in the LEC with their star-studded roster. However, their performance in the first half of the Spring Split was less than impressive. In week seven, the team finally showed their potential with a strong showing against SK and Misfits. Alphari, their top laner, stood out with exceptional play on Gangplank and Gnar, securing nine kills and seven assists while only dying once.

Alphari is known for his dominant laning presence, with the highest average gold difference at 15 minutes in the LEC, according to Oracle’s Elixir. What sets him apart is his ability to maintain that advantage and translate it into victories for his team. If Alphari and Vitality can maintain this level of play consistently, they could become a formidable force in the league.

Fnatic’s Razork

Razork has been in top form this split, leading the LEC junglers in KDA statistics according to Game of Legends. His performance on Diana against Rogue showcased his aggressive yet rational playstyle, consistently attacking the enemy backline and securing objectives for his team. As Fnatic holds the second spot in the standings, Razork will need to continue his stellar performance in the upcoming matches against Misfits to solidify their position and potentially overtake Rogue at the top.

Misfits’ Vetheo

Vetheo has emerged as one of the top mid laners in the LEC this split, leading in KDA, kill participation, and ranking second in damage per minute. His standout performance on Akali against G2 Esports secured a crucial win for Misfits. Despite their loss to Vitality, Vetheo’s performance earned him a spot on the Team of the Week. He has proven himself as a dominant mid laner and will be crucial in Misfits’ playoff push.

Fnatic’s Upset

Fnatic’s recent victories over Rogue and MAD Lions have propelled them to the top of the standings. Upset, their AD carry, has been a key factor in their success. With his strong presence in team fights and high KDA, Upset has filled the void left by Rekkles and emerged as one of the best AD carry players in the league. His dominance in the early game sets the tone for Fnatic’s success.

Fnatic’s Hylissang

Hylissang, Fnatic’s support player, has been leveling up his game this season. Known for his excessive aggression and high death totals, Hylissang has improved his playstyle, resulting in fewer deaths and more effective contributions to the team. He remains a trigger finger for Fnatic, initiating engages and creating opportunities for the team. His improved performance is a positive sign for Fnatic as they head into the playoffs.
