Red Bull has teamed up with the LCS to launch the Red Bull Solo Q tournament in North America.

This League of Legends competition is open to amateur players from the U.S. and Canada. The qualifiers will begin on May 29, and registration is currently open for all local participants.

Exciting One-vs-One Matches on Summoner’s Rift

During the event, players will engage in one-on-one matches, focusing solely on the top lane of Summoner’s Rift. To secure victory, players must be the first to achieve two kills in under seven minutes or get one kill after seven minutes. Alternatively, they can destroy the opposing player’s outer turret or achieve a 100-minion creep score first.

Last year, over 80,000 players signed up to compete in Red Bull Solo Q, vying for prizes and the prestigious Red Bull Solo Q trophy.

“Last year’s Red Bull Solo Q tournament in North America provided thrilling competition for fans and amateur players alike,” said Matt Archambault, head of esports partnerships for NA and OCE at Riot Games. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with Red Bull and bring the tournament back for another year, as we find new ways for fans to experience LoL competition in North America.”

Special Appearances and Regional Qualifiers

All qualifiers in the U.S. and Canada will be restricted to players residing in the respective regions of each listed location. Depending on local COVID-19 restrictions, U.S. regional qualifiers may be held either in-person or as geo-gated online events. Meanwhile, all Canadian qualifiers will be conducted online as geo-gated events.
