LCK Summer Split Returns with Exciting Matches
The highly anticipated LCK Summer Split is back, bringing a thrilling competition among ten teams. The round-robin group stage will feature each team facing off against one another twice. The top six teams will advance to the playoffs, and the champion will be crowned on Aug. 15.
A New Format for the Playoffs
In this split, the playoffs will have an updated format that debuted in the previous split. The best-of-five series will determine the winner, adding more excitement to the matches. It is important for teams to aim for victory in every game during the regular season, as it increases their points even if they don’t win the overall series.

The LCK is home to veteran stars and promising rookies, making the matches even more enticing. DWG KIA, after a disappointing loss in the MSI finals against RNG, will be looking to bounce back. Despite minimal roster changes during the midseason break, teams are expected to showcase the same coordinated playstyle as the previous split. One notable change is the limited substitution period, which prevents constant player swaps on a weekly basis.
