2020 Spring Split week 6 LEC Power Rankings

Playoff Picture in LEC Spring Split

The 2020 LEC Spring Split is nearing its playoffs, and unlike the LCS, the LEC remains stable. The playoff field is mostly set, with Schalke, SK, and Vitality all but eliminated. The race for the last playoff spot is between Mad Lions, Rogue, and Excel.

Power Rankings in the LEC

There is intrigue at the top of the table in the LEC, where G2 still holds the lead in the power rankings. However, one voter went out on a limb and ranked Fnatic ahead. The final results showed G2 Esports in first place with Fnatic close behind. Origen moved up one spot, while Misfits dropped down by one. The rankings continue with Rogue, Mad Lions, Excel Esports, FC Schalke 04, SK Gaming, and Team Vitality.

Teams Out of Playoff Contention

Schalke, SK, and Vitality have had a tough split, and it’s clear that they won’t make it to the playoffs. However, they still have valuable work to do in the coming weeks. Vitality should consider finding a new mid laner, as Saken has struggled to perform at this level. SK should evaluate their top-jungle duo and consider making changes. And for Schalke, their jungle situation needs a drastic improvement.

Teams Fighting for the Last Playoff Spot

One of the remaining races in the LEC is among Rogue, Mad Lions, and Excel for the last playoff spot. Excel has been struggling lately, while Mad Lions has shown strength despite a gap in the ADC position. Rogue’s Larssen has been a standout mid laner and will be a key player in the upcoming Rogue vs. Mad Lions match.

Origen and Misfits in the B Tier

Misfits had a tough loss against Fnatic, but they are still considered a strong team. Origen, on the other hand, has improved after a slow start, and Xerxe has been a key player for them. The matchup between Origen and Fnatic will be one to watch.

The Battle for First Place – G2 vs. Fnatic

G2 has been dominant throughout the split, but Fnatic’s recent win over Misfits has raised some doubts. Caps, playing in the ADC role, is still adapting. The upcoming G2 vs. Fnatic match will be a thrilling preview of what’s to come in the playoffs.
