100 Thieves to Replace Ssumday with FakeGod in Week 3 of the 2019 LCS Summer Split

## 100 Thieves Makes Lineup Changes in Effort to Turn Around LCS Performance

100 Thieves is facing a challenging start to the 2019 LCS Summer Split. After losing their first four games, the team is taking action by making changes to their lineup. Academy top laner Aaron “FakeGod” Lee will replace star player Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho in their match against Golden Guardians on Saturday. Additionally, veteran Academy mid laner Ryu Sang-wook is taking the place of Max “Soligo” Soong. These changes come after a disappointing start to the season, with losses against CLG, Clutch Gaming, and OpTic Gaming.

The team has been experimenting with different lineups during its Academy games, including moving Ssumday, Soligo, and Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black to the starting lineup. Even world champion Bae “Bang” Jun-sik played in the NA Academy as a desperate attempt to find a winning combination.

Last split, 100 Thieves struggled to find synergy among their star-studded roster, leading to a disappointing regular season. With only four wins in the abysmal 2019 Spring Split, it was clear that changes were necessary. Jungler Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider was added to the lineup in the offseason, but the team continues to struggle.

In their upcoming matches against Golden Guardians and Echo Fox, 100 Thieves will have an opportunity to prove themselves. However, if this new lineup fails to find success, the team may be in trouble for the second split in a row.
