100 Thieves Edging Closer to First Place in 2021 LCS Summer Split after Defeating Cloud9 in Week 4

100 Thieves Defeats Cloud9 in LCS Match

100 Thieves continues to establish its dominance in the LCS, showcasing their superiority in their recent bout against Spring Split champions Cloud9.

In this game, 100 Thieves displayed the remarkable synergy that is expected from their League of Legends team, securing a victory over Cloud9.

The focus of the match was on the bot lane, where the veterans and former champions reunited against the rising stars of the Summer Split. Despite Cloud9’s success in the laning phase, FBI’s Kalista and Huhi’s Nautilus dominated the mid and late game, paving the way for 100 Thieves’ inevitable victory.

Surprisingly, Abbedagge outperformed Perkz in the mid lane, quickly gaining an advantage with Azir against Perkz’s Lulu. With the help of Closer, who acted as a valuable scout in the river, Abbedagge shut down Perkz’s attempts to make an impact with Blaber’s Kindred.

With this win, 100 Thieves maintains their position at the top of the LCS standings with 20 wins and 9 losses, while Cloud9 experiences another defeat. 100 Thieves consistently outmaneuvered Cloud9 throughout the match, whether by securing objectives or utilizing teleports to surprise their opponents.

Currently, 100 Thieves’ main competitor for first place is TSM, who have yet to play their match against Evil Geniuses. Depending on the outcome of that match, the two teams may tie for first place until the end of this weekend.
