100-percent Pick-Ban Presence: Twisted Fate Reigns as Sole Champion in LEC and LCS

Twisted Fate Dominates the Competitive League of Legends Scene with a 100% Pick-Ban Rate

The champion meta in competitive League of Legends has been incredibly diverse across major regions. While there have been interesting picks like Singed support and Zed, one champion has stood out in the drafting phase – Twisted Fate.

According to League stats tracker Games of Legends, Twisted Fate currently boasts a 100% pick-ban rate in both the LCS and LEC. He has only been played in four games, with a 50% win rate, but has been banned a staggering 26 times.

In the Eastern major regions such as the LCK and LPL, Twisted Fate’s pick-ban rate drops slightly to 82%. However, this is because these leagues play more games in their regular season best-of-threes. Despite that, Twisted Fate has still been banned a staggering 69 times in these regions.

The key to Twisted Fate’s dominance lies in his ultimate ability, Destiny. This ability provides him with a wide range of uses, making him one of the most efficient champions in competitive play. He can split push in a side lane, applying pressure while being able to join his team across the map for objectives once the opponent responds.

Additionally, Twisted Fate can quickly join skirmishes and provide his team with vision of every enemy champion on the map. His ability to teleport behind an enemy team and stun opponents allows for easy follow-up engages and damage. Aggressive teams find his utility invaluable in any composition.

Although Twisted Fate’s pick-ban rate may decrease in the coming weeks, he is likely to remain one of the top picks unless he receives a significant nerf in future patches.

The 2022 LEC Spring Split and LCS Lock In tournament will resume on Friday, Jan. 21.
