League of Legends Worlds 2023: Complete Match Schedule

The World Championship of League of Legends is finally here after an entire year of thrilling action. It’s important to keep track of the schedule for this month-long event.

This year, the tournament features 22 of the best teams from around the world, with a new format spread across October and November. The competition will be divided into three stages: the play-in stage, the Swiss stage, and the knockout stage. Here are the specific dates for each stage:

  • Play-in stage: Oct. 10 to 15
  • Swiss stage: Oct. 19 to 23, Oct. 26 to 29
  • Knockout stage: Nov. 2 to 5 (Quarterfinals), Nov. 11 to 12 (Semifinals), Nov. 19 (Finals)

In the play-in stage, eight teams will compete for two spots in the next round. The remaining 14 teams from major regions will join them in the Swiss-style format stage with five rounds.

The knockout stage will feature the top eight teams battling for the championship title. Fans are eagerly waiting to see which teams will come out on top, from favorites to surprise contenders.

If you’re in North America like me, you might need to adjust your sleep schedule to catch the games. The tournament is taking place in South Korea, so the start times will be late for those on the other side of the globe.
