IEM Katowice 2024 Breaks Viewership Records

Contrary to the doubters, Counter-Strike 2 has proven its success at the recent IEM Katowice event.

This year’s edition of the renowned Polish tournament surpassed the previous year in terms of viewership and popularity. According to gaming stats site Esports Charts, there was an average of 287,177 concurrent viewers, marking a 20% increase compared to IEM Katowice 2023. Although the grand final, where Team Spirit triumphed over FaZe Clan in a best-of-five series, fell just short of a million viewers with 972,119 tuning in, it attracted over 150,000 more viewers compared to last year’s final between G2 and Heroic.
