Thunderkick Launches Hot Potato with Cluster Win Mechanic
Independent slots studio Thunderkick has released its newest game, Hot Potato, featuring a cluster win mechanic that adds a fiery twist to the gameplay.
To win in Hot Potato, players must match five or more identical symbols, including soda cans, burgers, and fries, in horizontal or vertical directions on a 7×7 grid.
The star of the game is the Exploding Wild, represented by the namesake character, the potato. It can randomly appear and trigger during any spin or cluster win, exploding across a 3×3 area, removing symbols, and creating a Multiplier Grid.
Each position in the Multiplier Grid starts with a x2 multiplier. If additional Exploding Wilds land in the area during subsequent cluster wins, these multipliers are doubled, with the potential to reach up to x128 the player’s bet.
