SKS365 Launches PlanetGreen365 Sustainability Program with Corporate Forest Initiative
SKS365, one of the top gaming and betting operators in the Italian market, has launched its PlanetGreen365 corporate sustainability program with the creation of a corporate forest. This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and support rural communities across the globe.
SKS365’s Commitment to Environmental Protection
SKS365 has been actively involved in environmental protection activities in its offices in Italy and Serbia. These efforts have paved the way for the PlanetGreen365 program, which focuses on promoting sustainability through education and example, particularly for younger generations. Through its collaboration with Treedom, SKS365 aims to contribute to 10 out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the United Nations’ Agenda for 2030.
A Global Forest for a Greener Future
To kickstart the corporate forest initiative, SKS365 has planted 1,000 trees in seven countries across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Each employee of the company has received a tree of their choice as a gift, and they can track its progress online and receive updates on its impact in terms of CO2 absorption. Additionally, some of the trees, including cocoa in Cameroon, avocado in Guatemala, and coffee in Nepal, have been donated to the children and young acquaintances of the employees, aiming to involve future generations in environmental awareness and action.
Promoting Environmental Responsibility
Brian Dean, Chief People Officer of SKS365, emphasized the importance of addressing climate change and environmental sustainability. He highlighted the need for collective responsibility among governments, businesses, communities, and individuals in the fight against climate change. Dean expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Treedom, stating that the initiative will not only contribute to a more sustainable world but also foster a deep connection between employees and the environment. He emphasized the role of young people in building a better future and the importance of providing them with knowledge, values, and behaviors to reduce their environmental impact in daily life.
