Indian professional poker player Nikita Luther, winner of the WSOP bracelet, recently participated in the Game of Gold, an invite-only poker reality tournament. Luther was the sole Indian poker pro invited to compete against global heavyweights such as Daniel Neagranu and Fedor Holz.

The Game of Gold Tournament Format
In the first round of the Game of Gold, the 16 participants are divided into four teams represented by different suits of cards: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs. Participants from the losing team are eliminated, and teams are reshuffled at each stage, following the tournament’s reality TV aspect. Luther initially joined Team Spades, along with Charlie Carrel, Fedor Holz, and Johan ‘YoH ViraL’ Guilbert. She faced off against her former teammate YoH ViraL in a tense match-up.
