Professional Fighters League Collaborates with 888poker

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced a partnership with 888poker for the upcoming PFL Europe Championship in Dublin on December 8. This collaboration marks the first of its kind for the PFL’s regional MMA league.

During the championship, the PFL SmartCage will feature branding from 888poker, the award-winning online poker platform. In addition to this on-cage promotion, the partnership will include further branding and promotion across PFL channels leading up to and during the event.

James Frewin, SVP International of PFL, expressed excitement about the collaboration and highlighted the intersections between the poker community and the world of mixed martial arts. Frewin noted that the unique seasonal format of the PFL is set to captivate poker players and enthusiasts globally.

Amit Berkovich, VP head of Poker and MD ROW at 888 William Hill, also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. Berkovich highlighted the shared passion for entertainment and commitment to providing first-class experiences in their respective spaces. He sees this sponsorship deal as an opportunity to reach more diverse audiences and looks forward to the innovative projects that will come from the collaboration.

The PFL Europe Championship on December 8 will feature exciting match-ups, including Simeon Powell against Jakob Nedoh in the Light Heavyweight Championship and Dakota Ditcheva against Valentina Scatizzi in the Women’s Flyweight Championship.
