Play’n GO wins Game Studio of the Year at CasinoBeats Malta Awards two years in a row

Play’n’Go: Game Studio of the Year

Swedish-founded gaming giant achieves dominant performance at annual awards ceremony, also receiving Best Music/Soundtrack Award for Hugo Legacy.

Play’n GO, the world’s top casino entertainment provider, was named Game Studio of the Year at the CasinoBeats Game Developer honors in Valletta, Malta, for the second year in a row, one of two honors the firm received that evening.

The Game Studio of the Year award recognizes Play’n GO’s excellent performance in 2023, during which the studio released more than 50 premium titles, increased its global market share, and continued its rapid development in the United States with the award of new state licenses and operator agreements.

The Power of Hugo Legacy’s Unique Soundtrack

Hugo Legacy also won an award for its distinctive soundtrack, which was performed live by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague, demonstrating Play’n GO’s meticulous attention to detail and boundless effort in game production.

In late Q4 of 2023, the firm had its most successful month in nearly 20 years, as well as the most rounds played in a single day, and these honors reflect the iconic game studio’s continuing greatness.

Recognition and Commitment to Excellence

Ebba Arnred, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Play’n GO, expressed gratitude for the accolades, including Game Studio of the Year for the second year in a row.

“Seeing Hugo Legacy’s distinct music recognized in this manner is also incredibly nice. It demonstrates our firm view that every aspect matters in game design and entertainment for our players, from the narrative we tell to the sounds we incorporate into our games. We aspire to push the frontiers of what is possible in entertainment, and the Hugo Legacy soundtrack exemplifies our devotion to that goal. These accolades recognize everyone at Play’n GO’s hard work and dedication, and they inspire us all to double down and make 2024 an even better year for the firm. We will be returning for another three-peat next year!”
